Integral Refrigeration Option:
Is mounted to the exterior wall of the cold-room, it is most suitable for well-ventilated areas only. It is the simplest, most straightforward and least expensive to purchase and install. With this format, the evaporator and condensing unit are built into the cold-room as one. Advantages include faster easier installation and there for reduced initial investment however the heat and noise is expelled directly where the cold-room is located and is not always the most efficient. We do not recommend using integral units for example in hot busy kitchens unless remote units are not an option.
Remote Refrigeration Option:
Remote is the most popular and reliable method. It offers improved energy savings and life span over integral refrigeration.
With remote systems, the cold-room’s condensing unit is sited elsewhere, often outside, so any noise and heat from its operation is taken away. Remote condensing units are supplied in a weatherproof housing as standard.
